Thanks for taking the time out of your busy schedule to read about what is new at Ground Effects. This morning as I arrived at work 2 trucks were sitting in our driveway ready to be unloaded with evergreens, trees, perennials, and shrubs. And there are going to be 3 more trucks coming today or tomorrow. Spring is officially here and hopefully (cross your fingers) we don't have any more snow. I looked at the forecast and it doesn't look like it will freeze in the next 15 days. I figured I better get this newsletter written early this morning or it won't get done today. Make sure to stop in, there are many changes and I am so excited to share them with you.
| | | Mother's Day is Fast Approaching
 With Mother's Day just around the corner we are all racking our brains to find that perfect thoughtful gift for our Mother. We can make it easy for you . STOP AT GROUND EFFECTS. This year on May 7th we are having a day where kids can come in with a parent and create a container like the one shown above for Mom. We will then take a picture of them either creating it or with the finished product. Then will put it in a nice mother's day card for your child to give to their Mother. Now didn't we make that easy for you.
Don't forget our flowershop will have, as always, all kinds of unique arrangements to get mom also. The Greenhouse is overflowing with wonderful annuals: from hanging baskets, to containers, to the individual potted plants. | | April 30: New and Exciting Annuals Seminar.
 Katie is ready to show you what is new and exciting in the world of annuals. Our greenhouse is overflowing with tried and true varieties along with the new, exciting , never been seen before varieties. The seminar will be Wednesday, April 30 at 6 pm. Don't forget to call 722-4600 or email me at justin@scgroundeffects.com to reserve your spot right away. Katie will show you the exciting new containers and the beauties we have to fill them that will make you say "wow." We know how busy everyone is and we are trying this seminar on a week night instead of Saturday to see if it is more convenient for some of you. Let us know what you think.

Destination Sioux Center is back by popular demand from Valentines Day with the New Mother's Day Edition. When you shop at Ground Effects May 7th through the 10th you can enter to win a Super Mother's Day package for two. Your day will start off with a delightful breakfast at The Family Table. The kids corner is ready to be tested by your kids. Take your kids in and let them relax in the kids corner where they can color, watch a video, or play with some toys. Stay tuned as we will be adding more things for kids to do while at Ground Effects.

Our first container workshop was a hit with many people coming to plant their containers the last couple of Saturdays. Don't worry if you missed out on this, Katie and Evie are ready to help you create that customer container just for you.
